Talk Therapy

Individual Therapy.

Individual therapy is customized to your individual needs. Together, we’ll explore what is happening so that we can find a way to get you on the path to a better you. This might look like learning new skills to cope with stressors, looking at patterns in relationships and behaviors, or challenging mindsets that are no longer serving you. It could be as simple as talking through your problems with an unbiased individual who is not going to judge you or tell your secrets. It is my goal to understand what might be most helpful to you and work with you to meet your goals. Some common issues addressed in individual therapy include:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Life stressors

  • Life transitions

  • Loss and grief

  • Relationship issues

  • Stress/Overwhelm

  • Trauma

Family therapy.

Bringing families together for therapy can be helpful when members are looking to improve family cohesiveness, communication, and functioning. Events that may lead family members to join together for therapy may include:

  • Addition or loss of family members

  • Change in family structure

  • Conflict among one or more members

  • Learning to work together

  • Life transition
